» I can’t upload the photos. Can you help me?

Make sure they are in jpg format

Check that the dimensions the image are no greater than 1024x1024px

Check the file size, it should be at most 500Kb

» I click on Save and nothing happens. What should I do?

Probably your browser is not compatible with the photo uploading system. Compatible browsers are: Internet Explorer, Opera, FlashPeak, SlimBrowser, Mozilla e Netscape on a Windows Pc or Safari if you have a Mac;please use one of these, even if just to upload the photos.

» I have uploaded some photos but I’m not happy with the quality. What can I do?

Choose photos with larger dimensions.

Recommended minimum, for the shorter side, 300px   

Recommended minimum file size 100Kb

» How many photos should I enter?

The system will allow you to enter 8 photos. We recommend uploading them all, so as to give the fullest idea of the accommodation.

» One of the photos I entered is not of the accommodation. How can I cancel it?

You can replace the photo with another one: select UPLOAD PHOTO for the one you want to replace and repeat the uploading procedure with the new one.

At present it is not possible for users to remove photos.

ACCOMMODATION

» I’ve registered as owner but so far my property hasn’t appeared. What should I do?

Just registering as OWNER is not enough to display your property, to do so you have to enter the details of your property by completing the various sections.

» How can I enter a property?

First of all register as owner, you will then receive an email containing the USERNAME and the PASSWORD chosen.

Enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD in the Homepage to access the PERSONAL AREA

Click on PROPERTY and then on CLICK HERE TO ADD A PROPERTY

Enter all the details of your PROPERTY completing all the following sections.

» Why doesn’t the property I’ve entered appear on the site?

Your property is undergoing the checking procedure and will be displayed within 24/48 hours from the time you entered it. You will receive an email.

Your property has only been partially entered. You will receive an email.

The entry doesn’t comply with the Terms and Conditions. You will receive an email.

» How can I improve the visibility of my property?

If you want your ad to appear in the NEW ARRIVALS column on the Homepage, you should update it by accessing the PERSONAL AREA, then clicking on UPDATES and then on NOW. You can repeat this procedure every 12 hours.

If you want your ad to appear in the SPOTLIGHT section on the Homepage, you can undertake a subscription lasting 45 days at 30€ (including VAT) and the property will be automatically displayed in rotation. the SPOTLIGHT can be subscribed from the PERSONAL AREA - Payments section.

» Is the annual subscription renewed automatically?

No it’s not. 30 days before it expires you will receive an email asking if you want to renew it. If you don’t renew the subscription your property will no longer be displayed on 1001holidayhouses.com portal.

» I can’t remember my USERNAME and PASSWORD. How can I retrieve them?

Click on forgotten your username/password? at the top of the column on the left of the Homepage.

» Will the description of my property be translated into all the languages on the site?

Yes. The translation is automatic for all the details of the property entered, except for the HEADING, the PERSONALIZED DESCRIPTION and HOW TO GET THERE. These three sections can be translated into ITALIAN, FRENCH, GERMAN AND SPANISH by professional translators at a cost of 30,00 Euro per language (max 4200 characters). Translations can be requested in the PERSONAL AREA Payments section.
